The Opportunity

We are seeking a hands-on Senior Electrical Engineer to design, develop, and support next-generation electronic hardware for advanced medical systems. This role offers full-lifecycle ownership—from circuit and PCB design through prototype bring-up, verification, production support, and sustaining engineering.

You’ll collaborate closely with mechanical, software, manufacturing, and quality engineers in a fast-paced multidisciplinary environment developing sophisticated FDA-regulated medical electronic products.

What You’ll Do

· Lead electronic hardware design from concept through production, including circuit design, simulation, analysis, and validation.

· Design complex multilayer PCBs using Altium Designer.

· Develop embedded controller hardware using ARM-based microcontrollers and microprocessors.

· Design system wiring harnesses and electrical interconnects.

· Perform hardware integration, system bring-up, testing, debugging, and prototype evaluation.

· Support system verification, regulatory compliance, and product validation.

· Select components based on performance, reliability, availability, cost, and lifecycle.

· Collaborate across engineering disciplines during NPI and sustaining engineering.

· Support prototype builds, laboratory testing, troubleshooting, and SMD rework.

Key Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) required.

· 10+ years of hands-on electrical engineering experience.

· Extensive schematic and multilayer PCB design experience using Altium Designer.

· Strong embedded hardware design experience using ARM-based MCUs and/or MPUs.

· Experience developing FDA-regulated medical devices or other regulated medical electronic systems.

· Proven experience taking electronic products through the full product development lifecycle.

· Strong hardware troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

· Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills.

· Stable work history required – no more than 2 jobs in the last 5 years.

Preferred Technical Experience

· Analog and mixed-signal circuit design.

· ADC, DAC, op-amp, signal-conditioning, and microcontroller interface design.

· I²C, SPI, UART, CAN, and related serial communications.

· Switching power supply circuit design.

· High-speed digital design for complex multilayer boards.

· IEC 60601 safety and emissions testing.

· Sensor and instrumentation systems.

· Bluetooth and Wi-Fi wireless design.

· Robotics, motion control, or mechatronics.

· EMC, safety, and regulatory compliance testing.

· Medical laser or aesthetic medical device experience.

Compensation & Benefits

· $125,000 – $162,000 base salary.

· Medical, dental, and vision insurance.

· Health Savings Account (HSA).

· 401(k) with employer match.

· Life, disability, and AD&D insurance.

· Paid time off and parental leave.

· Potential equity/stock incentive participation.

· Profit-sharing bonus opportunity.
